Immerse yourself in a thrilling evening of True Crime, paired with the captivating CSI episode inspired by the case. “Blood Drops” (Season 1, Episode 7), written by Ann Donahue and Elizabeth Devine, is based on the chilling 2000 murder of the Flores family in Pico Rivera—a case personally analyzed by Devine during her time as a Supervising Criminalist for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
We encourage guests to watch the episode (available on Hulu, Paramount+, and YouTube) beforehand for context. At the event, you’ll uncover the real-life details of the case, get exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into filming, and learn how this pivotal episode launched Devine’s transition from lead CSI to an acclaimed Technical Advisor, Writer, and Producer on CSI, the world’s most popular show from 2000 to 2015.
